Privacy Policy
Last Updated: July 4, 2026
Save Our Relief is committed to protecting the privacy of people who visit our website and participate in our consumer advocacy campaign. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices available to you.
1. Information We Collect
When you use the Save Our Relief congressional action tool, contact us, or subscribe to campaign updates, you may provide information including:
- Your name
- Email address
- Telephone number
- Street address, city, state, and ZIP code
- The contents of a message you send to Congress, including any edits or personal information you add
- Your decision whether to receive Save Our Relief email updates
- Information you provide when contacting the campaign directly
Your address is used to identify your U.S. representative and senators and route your advocacy message to the appropriate congressional offices.
Because Save Our Relief addresses matters of public policy, your participation or the contents of your message may reveal your views about hemp regulation and consumer access.
Our website and service providers may also collect limited technical information automatically, such as your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, pages visited, links selected, and standard server-log or cookie information.
2. How We Use Information
We may use information collected through the campaign to:
- Identify your appropriate congressional representatives
- Prepare and deliver your advocacy message to those congressional offices
- Operate and administer the Save Our Relief campaign
- Respond to questions, requests, or corrections
- Maintain the security and proper functioning of the website and action tool
- Measure campaign participation using aggregated or de-identified information
- Comply with applicable legal requirements
- Send Save Our Relief campaign updates when you have expressly opted in to receive them
Information submitted through Save Our Relief will not be used for unrelated commercial product marketing.
3. Action Network and Congressional Offices
Save Our Relief uses Action Network to process and deliver advocacy messages.
When you submit the action form, your information and message are processed by Action Network and transmitted to your U.S. representative and senators. Action Network acts as a service provider for the campaign and processes this information in connection with the requested advocacy action.
Congressional offices receive your message as a constituent communication and may retain or use it according to their own practices. Save Our Relief does not control the privacy or record-retention practices of congressional offices.
Action Network’s separate privacy notice describes its own data-processing, security, retention, and privacy practices.
4. How We Share Information
We may share information only as reasonably necessary with:
- Your U.S. representative and senators
- Action Network, which provides the congressional action infrastructure
- Website hosting, security, email, and other service providers that help operate the campaign
- Government authorities or other parties when disclosure is required by law or reasonably necessary to protect legal rights, safety, or site security
Save Our Relief does not sell, rent, or trade personal information for commercial marketing.
We may use and share aggregated or de-identified information that does not reasonably identify an individual.
5. Email Updates
Receiving Save Our Relief email updates is optional and is not required to send a letter to Congress.
We will send campaign updates only when you expressly select the email opt-in option. You may unsubscribe at any time by using the unsubscribe link in an email or contacting us.
Unsubscribing from campaign updates does not affect a message that has already been delivered to Congress.
6. Cookies and Technical Information
Our website and service providers may use cookies, server logs, and similar technologies that are necessary to operate the site, maintain security, remember basic preferences, and understand general site usage.
Browser settings may allow you to block or delete cookies. Some site functions may not operate properly if necessary cookies are disabled.
7. Data Retention and Security
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to:
- Complete and document the advocacy action you requested
- Administer the campaign
- Provide requested updates
- Maintain security and accurate records
- Meet legal or operational requirements
When information is no longer needed, it may be deleted or de-identified. Some information may remain temporarily in secure backups or records maintained by service providers.
We and our service providers use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
8. Your Choices and Rights
You may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information maintained by Save Our Relief, subject to applicable law and legitimate record-keeping requirements.
Because Action Network processes information on behalf of the campaign, we may work with Action Network to respond to your request.

If we learn that such information has been submitted, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
10. Visitors Outside the United States
Save Our Relief is a United States advocacy campaign focused on communication with the United States Congress.
Information submitted through the site may be processed and stored in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country of residence.
