Welcome to Save Our Relief. These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of SaveOurRelief.org, including its educational materials, congressional scorecard, advocacy tools, and related features.

By accessing or using the site, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. Purpose of the Site

Save Our Relief is a nonpartisan consumer advocacy campaign focused on educating the public about federal hemp policy, encouraging constituent participation, and tracking documented congressional action.

The site is provided for public education, advocacy, and informational purposes. It does not sell products or direct users to a commercial storefront.

Information on the site is not legal, medical, financial, or professional advice.

2. Congressional Action Tool

Save Our Relief uses a third-party service, Action Network, to help users identify their U.S. representative and senators and send advocacy messages to those offices.

When using the action tool, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and truthful contact information
• Use your own identity and address
• Review the recipients, subject, and message before submitting
• Avoid impersonating another person
• Avoid including false, threatening, abusive, unlawful, or confidential information
• Avoid submitting Social Security numbers, financial information, medical records, or other highly sensitive personal information

The letter may be reviewed and edited before it is sent. By selecting “Send Letter,” you authorize the displayed message to be transmitted to the congressional offices identified by the tool.

3. Message Delivery and Congressional Responses

Save Our Relief does not guarantee that:

• A message will be delivered, opened, read, retained, or answered by a congressional office
• A lawmaker will take a particular position or legislative action
• Information supplied by congressional offices or government databases will always be complete or immediately current
• Use of the action tool will produce any particular policy or legislative result

Congressional offices control their own systems, communications, and record-retention practices.

4. Scorecard and Legislative Information

The Save Our Relief congressional scorecard is based on official sponsor and co-sponsor information available from Congress.gov or other identified government sources.

A lawmaker listed as “Action Still Needed” is not currently shown in the cited official records as a sponsor or co-sponsor of the relevant legislation. That designation does not claim that the lawmaker opposes the legislation, opposes hemp, or has taken a public position against the campaign.

Legislative information may be delayed, corrected, or changed. Save Our Relief may update the scorecard when new official information becomes available.

5. Acceptable Use

You may not use the site or its tools to:

• Violate any applicable law
• Submit false contact information or impersonate another person
• Send spam, commercial solicitations, or unrelated communications
• Make automated, robotic, scripted, or bulk submissions
• Attempt to bypass submission limits or security measures
• Interfere with the operation, availability, or security of the site
• Introduce malicious software or harmful code
• Scrape, harvest, or collect personal information from the site
• Access restricted systems or data without authorization
• Infringe copyrights, trademarks, privacy rights, or other legal rights
• Harass, threaten, defame, or target another person unlawfully

We may restrict or block access when reasonably necessary to protect the campaign, users, service providers, or the integrity of the advocacy tools.

6. Content You Submit

You retain ownership of personal statements or edits you add to an advocacy message.

By submitting a message, you authorize Save Our Relief and its service providers to process, format, and transmit that content to the intended congressional offices for the advocacy purpose you requested.

Submitting a message does not give Save Our Relief permission to publish your name, story, or message publicly. Separate permission will be requested before personal content is used in campaign communications, testimonials, media, or public materials.

You are responsible for ensuring that content you submit is truthful, lawful, and does not violate another person’s rights.

7. Campaign Content and Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise indicated, the site’s original text, graphics, logos, design, scorecard presentation, and other materials belong to Save Our Relief or are used with permission.

You may:

• Share links to public pages
• Share official Save Our Relief social posts
• Download and share campaign graphics made available for public advocacy
• Quote limited portions of site content with attribution

You may not:

• Present Save Our Relief materials as your own
• Alter materials in a way that creates a false or misleading impression
• Use campaign content to promote an unrelated commercial product or service
• Use the Save Our Relief name or logo in a way that falsely suggests sponsorship, partnership, or endorsement

8. Third-Party Services and Links

The site may use or link to third-party services, including Action Network, Congress.gov, government websites, hosting providers, email services, and social-media platforms.

Those services are operated independently and may have their own terms and privacy policies. Save Our Relief does not control and is not responsible for their availability, security, content, accuracy, or data practices.

Your use of embedded Action Network functionality may also be subject to Action Network’s applicable policies.

9. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information are described in the Save Our Relief Privacy Policy.

Information submitted through the congressional action tool may be processed by Action Network and transmitted to the congressional offices selected by the tool.

Email updates are optional. You are not required to subscribe to campaign emails to send a letter to Congress.

10. Site Availability and Changes

We may modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any portion of the site when reasonably necessary, including for maintenance, security, legal compliance, technical problems, or changes in the campaign.

We may also correct errors, update legislative information, revise campaign materials, or remove content without prior notice.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The site, action tools, scorecard, and content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Save Our Relief disclaims warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties regarding accuracy, completeness, availability, security, fitness for a particular purpose, or freedom from harmful components.

We make reasonable efforts to present accurate and current information, but legislative records, third-party systems, and government information can change or contain delays.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Save Our Relief and those assisting with the campaign will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:

• Your use of or inability to use the site
• Delayed, failed, or misdirected advocacy messages
• Errors or delays in legislative or scorecard data
• The conduct or response of a congressional office
• A third-party website, platform, or service
• Unauthorized access, interruption, or loss of submitted information

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms to reflect changes in the site, campaign, service providers, or applicable requirements.

Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.

Failure to enforce a provision does not waive the right to enforce it later.
